Take-Two has recently announced that BioShock 2 will be coming out on October 30th over in Europe and coming to North America November 3rd.
The dates above were said to be “tentative” during the company’s earnings call. Bioshock 2 which is known as a thinking man’s shooter game will be coming out on PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC and players will be stepping into the role of Big Daddy.
GamePro’s upcoming issue will feature lots of Bioshock 2 details worthy of a spoiler alert badge. Big Daddy graces the front cover fully suited and you get to play as him. There will probably lots of Bioshock 2 news during E3 before the magazine even arrives on the shelves.
There’s over 8 minutes of Bioshock 2 footage in the newest trailer that emerged from the Internet tubes. There are some commentary by the developers talking about the mechanic’s and the new concept of the game. There’s even a part where you get to play as Big Daddy himself. There are many surprises in the trailer so check it out for yourself after the break.

2K has confused everyone enough about whether or not Bioshock 2 will have the subtitle “Sea of Dreams” but apparently that title was only for that teaser trailer 2K released earlier. So now it looks like it’s official Bioshock 2 will now simply be called Bioshock 2.
We name most of our trailers at 2K and the name of the teaser trailer we released last October for BioShock 2 is called ‘Sea of Dreams,’ 2K spokesman Charlie Sinhaseni told IGN. “There was talk about adding that as an official subtitle, but we decided to simply keep it BioShock 2. Which platform do you own? Doesn’t really matter (unless you just own a Wii) cause Bioshock 2 to will be coming out at the same time for the Xbox 360, PS3, and the PC.
Playstation 3 owners will remember that it took a year to bring it over to the Playstation 3 side. But a 2K spokesperson said that this will not happen again with a simultaneous release for all platforms.
Despite the reports saying publisher 2K Games decided to drop the “Sea of Dreams” subtitle it now looks like there was just a bit of misunderstanding. 2K Games spoke to Eurogamer stating that Bioshock 2 will indeed be subtitled “Sea of Dreams”.
Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams is still on schedule to be released some time later this year for the PS3, Xbox 360, and the PC.
