September 5th, 2009There was no multi-player in the first Bioshock but that doesn’t matter because there will be multiplayer in Bioshock 2. Gamers can earn experience points which can then be used to upgrade weapons or buy items for “home base”.
Bioshock 2 Hunting the Big Sister Trailer

There are some commentary by the developers talking about the mechanic’s and the new concept of the game. There’s even a part where you get to play as Big Daddy himself.
