The BBFC has rated Bioshock 2 a 18. But that shouldn’t come as a surprise.

This is why they gave it that rating:

Contains strong bloody violence and very strong language

Bioshock 2 is expected to be release early 2010.

Everybody wants to know just how much longer do we have to wait for the new Rapture. 2K Games has announced that one of the most anticipated games of 2010 will be droping in stores on February 9, 2010. The story takes place about 10 years after the first Bioshock game.

Mark that date in your calendar kids that’s the new Rapture day.

BioShock 2 Action Figures

Wanna have your very onw Bid Daddy? Maybe you’d prefer Little Sister or maybe Big Sister. Why not all three then, because Bioshock 2 action figures are coming and it’s from toy company NECA.

Kotaku reported that the Bioshock 2 figurines may be appearing as prototypes at this years San Diego Comic-Con. Expect the new toys to be released the same time as the game sometime in 2010.

Well looks like Bioshock 2 wont be released this year like many of us hoped. The highly anticipated game was suppose to be out Oct of this year but it’s now been pushed back to early 2010. The main reason for the delay is to make sure the fans get a polished top notch gaming experience.

Bioshock 2 Release Date

Take-Two has recently announced that BioShock 2 will be coming out on October 30th over in Europe and coming to North America November 3rd.

The dates above were said to be “tentative” during the company’s earnings call. Bioshock 2 which is known as a thinking man’s shooter game will be coming out on PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC and players will be stepping into the role of Big Daddy.

It is here ladies and gentlemen, news you’ve all been waiting for here are some details for Bioshock 2 multi-player mode.

You will be playing as Plasmid test subject who works for Sinclair Solutions.

Setting takes place during the fall of Rapture.

You will be fighting other players in re-imagined game spots like Kashmir Restaurant and Mercury Suites.

Earn experience points by defeating other fighters to upgrade weapons, new Plasmids, and tonics.

Bioshock 2 has no Subtitle again

2K has confused everyone enough about whether or not Bioshock 2 will have the subtitle “Sea of Dreams” but apparently that title was only for that teaser trailer 2K released earlier. So now it looks like it’s official Bioshock 2 will now simply be called Bioshock 2.

We name most of our trailers at 2K and the name of the teaser trailer we released last October for BioShock 2 is called ‘Sea of Dreams,’ 2K spokesman Charlie Sinhaseni told IGN. “There was talk about adding that as an official subtitle, but we decided to simply keep it BioShock 2. Bioshock 2 will be released simultaneously

Which platform do you own? Doesn’t really matter (unless you just own a Wii) cause Bioshock 2 to will be coming out at the same time for the Xbox 360, PS3, and the PC.

Playstation 3 owners will remember that it took a year to bring it over to the Playstation 3 side. But a 2K spokesperson said that this will not happen again with a simultaneous release for all platforms.

Bioshock 2 keeps subtitle

Despite the reports saying publisher 2K Games decided to drop the “Sea of Dreams” subtitle it now looks like there was just a bit of misunderstanding. 2K Games spoke to Eurogamer stating that Bioshock 2 will indeed be subtitled “Sea of Dreams”.

Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams is still on schedule to be released some time later this year for the PS3, Xbox 360, and the PC.
